In the event of a Postal Strike the monthly social assistance cheque for August 2016 can be picked up as of July 27th at the Social Services office in the County you reside. Pick up times will be between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please make sure to bring photo ID with you.
For Haldimand Residents the pick up location will be 117 Forest St. E Dunnville
For Norfolk Residents the pick up location will be 12 Gilbertson Dr. Simcoe
In the event the postal strike continues into the latter part of August, please contact your case manager or visit our website at www.hnss.org for further information on the cheque pick up for September’s social assistance
Daily cheque pick ups for other benefits such as Medical Travel or Employment Assistance etc. please contact your case manager to plan a cheque pick up.
Your July Drug Benefit Card will be honored at all pharmacies
throughout the strike. Please make sure to retain this card in
the event of a postal strike.
