Do I qualify?
You may be eligible for help with child care costs if you live in Haldimand or Norfolk, and have a child or children that require care and at least one of the following apply:
- You are employed
- You are attending school
- You are retraining
- You are a parent with special needs or therapeutic needs
- You have a child with special needs or therapeutic needs
How much will I be required to pay?

To use this Child Care Fee Subsidy Calculator, you will need the information from line 236 from your most recent Income Tax – Notice of Assessment (NOA) as well as your spouse’s (if applicable). Or your family’s net income amount from your most recent Canada Child Tax (CCTB) notice.
What child care provider can I use?
Child Care Fee Subsidy can assist with cost of licensed child care or qualified recreation programs, including licensed home child care.
Types of care can include:
- Full/half daycare (infants, toddlers, preschoolers)
- Before and After School
- PA Day, March Break, Christmas, Summer Camps
