Ontario Works program is to help people in temporary financial need find sustainable employment and achieve self-reliance through effective, integrated employment services and financial assistance.
Basic financial assistance includes:
- income assistance provided for basic needs and shelter
- benefits as prescribed in the regulations
- emergency assistance is provided to help with basic needs and shelter on an emergency basis
Community Drop Ins
Ontario Works will be offering services in the community.
Drop in to chat with an Ontario Works staff. Staff will be located in various locations in the community weekly to answer questions and support our community.
