Important Notice
As of June 1st 2015, the child care top up will no longer be available to Haldimand & Norfolk Ontario Works recipients.
The child care deductions from employment, business or training net income will still be allowed. However, if child care expenses are greater than the earnings deduction, there will be no additional top up.
If the child care is unlicensed, this deduction is allowed up to $600 per month per child. If the child care is licensed, the allowable child care deduction is the actual amount paid for each child. The income reporting period of 16/04/2015-15/05/2015 will be the last period of child care top up. Please take this time to prepare for these changes.
