Child Care Fee Subsidy Program
The Child Care Fee Subsidy program supports Haldimand and Norfolk families by helping with child care costs for children under 13 in eligible licensed child care or recreation programs.
- You are a resident of Haldimand County or Norfolk County
- Your child is currently enrolled in a licensed child care or recreation program, eligible for fee subsidy
- You need child care for:
o Employment
o Attending school or training program
o Child’s or parent’s exceptional circumstance (i.e. special needs, disability, family crisis, etc.)
How much will I be required to pay?
Your financial contribution toward the cost of child care, if any, will be based on the results of an income assessment. Which child care provider can I use?
Families may access financial support through the Child Care Fee Subsidy program for eligible licensed child care or recreation programs, including licensed home child care. To view eligible providers in Haldimand and Norfolk or join the child care wait list, please visit: www.haldimandnorfolkonelist.ca.
Available child care types include:
- Full-day and half-day care for young children
- Before and after school programs
- Holiday and seasonal camps (e.g. PA Days, March Break, Summer)
